About TagWin Recruiting
We exist to put the right identity engineer in front of the right CISO.
TagWin Recruiting was founded by veterans of enterprise cybersecurity and technical search who recognized a structural gap in the market: generalist recruiters were attempting to staff one of the most specialized disciplines in technology — Identity & Access Management — and the placements were failing. We re-engineered the model from the ground up.
Single-discipline focus
100% of our search work is in IAM, IGA, PAM and adjacent cybersecurity domains. We do not staff full-stack engineers, marketers or finance roles.
Telemetry-first research
We maintain a continuously updated map of every notable IAM practitioner in North America and EMEA, tagged by platform, vertical and clearance posture.
Verified before submitted
Every candidate completes a structured technical evaluation built around the exact stack you operate. Résumés are evidence, not introductions.
Our Methodology
Engineered like an identity governance program.
We borrowed our operating model from the discipline we recruit for. Every client engagement begins with a written intake brief — analogous to a role definition in an IGA platform — that captures the technical scope, regulatory perimeter, compensation envelope and cultural signals of the hiring team. From that baseline we open a scoped search workflow with auditable stages, version-controlled candidate dossiers, and a single dedicated lead recruiter accountable for the mandate end-to-end.
We deliberately constrain our active mandate volume so that every search receives senior attention. There are no junior sourcers blast-emailing your name to LinkedIn. Every outreach is signed, contextual, and representative of your engineering brand in the cybersecurity community.
Principles
The non-negotiables that shape every engagement.
Direction over volume
We would rather present three calibrated finalists than thirty speculative profiles. Your hiring managers' calendars are a scarce resource and we treat them as one.
Candidate stewardship
Engineers we represent are briefed candidly on scope, comp, leadership, and risk. Misaligned hires damage everyone — including our reputation in a small community.
Specialization compounds
Twelve years of focus inside one discipline means our researchers recognize the inflection points in an IAM career and can spot fit signals that generalist firms miss entirely.
Tooling is leverage
We invest aggressively in research infrastructure — internal CRM, telemetry, technical-assessment harnesses — so our recruiters spend their hours on judgment, not data entry.
Always-on market intel
Even between mandates we are mapping. When you call with a backfill, we are not starting from zero. We hand you a list compiled over years of disciplined research.
Discretion is default
Confidential searches stay confidential. Anonymized briefs, NDA-gated dossiers, and no public job posts without your explicit authorization.
